Fruit Inspectors

Matthew 7:16: Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Matthew 7:20: Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Matthew 7:1: Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother*s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother*s eye. 6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

We do not have the power to condemn people but we need to examine their fruit. First we must examine our own fruit. If we do not honestly examine our own fruit and know Biblically that we are producing good fruit we will be unable to examine anyone else*s. If we do not inspect the fruit of others, how would we know who are the dogs and the swine?

Ephesians 5:6: Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. 7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

If we do not know the difference between vain words and profitable ones and between truth and falsehood, how could we keep from being deceived and how could we avoid being partakers in vanity and falsehood?

Ephesians 5:11: And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

If we do not inspect the fruit of others how would we know who we should have no fellowship with and who we should reprove?

2 Corinthians 6:14: Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

If we do not inspect the fruit of others, how would we know who it is we should not be yoked together with? If we do not know the difference between righteousness and unrighteousness, how would we know who we could have communion with?

Proverbs 13:20: He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.

If we do not inspect the fruit of others, how will we know who is wise and who is a fool?

1 Corinthians 15:33: Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

If we do not inspect the fruit of others we will be deceived. If we do not study the Bible and inspect the fruit of others, how will we know the difference between evil communications and good communications?

Proverbs 8:33: Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. 11:29 He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind: and the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart. 13:20 He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. 16:21 The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning. 19:20 Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end. 21:20 There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up. 23:15 My son, if thine heart be wise, my heart shall rejoice, even mine.
